EDWARD J. WALBERG JR.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 12, 2010 at Chisholm Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Erickson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel, and continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will follow in Chisholm Cemetery.

Edward J. Walberg Jr., age 40, of Chisholm, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Chisholm. He was born July 29, 1969 in Hibbing, MN to Edward J. and Diane G. (Vukad) Walberg Sr. He was a graduate of Chisholm High School class of 1987 and had been a resident most of his life.

Ed worked as a parts technician at Ziegler Corp. in Buhl. He attended Chisholm Baptist Church. He was an avid sportsman, hunter and all-around outdoorsman. He was dearly loved by his parents, sister, step-dad, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his parents- Diane (Bob) Lavern of International Falls, MN; Edward J. Walberg Sr. of Eveleth, MN; sister – Lisa (Eddie) Sardinha of Hollywood, FL; niece – Victoria Faith Sardinha; step-brother – Mitch Lavern of International Falls, MN; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
